Curing Hemorrhoids

The matter of curing hemorrhoids is actually a pretty simple process. Rid yourself of your personal causes for having hemorrhoids, eliminate the risky conditions which promote hemorrhoids, make some simple lifestyle and eating habit changes and for the most part consider your hemorrhoids cured.
It is well known that constipation is one f the biggest creators of hemorrhoids. A condition that almost everyone can relate to, as most people have had it one or more times during their lifetime. With a few preventative steps, constipation can most likely by avoided. There are just a couple ways that you can avoid getting constipated:
By drinking the recommended amount of water, 8 glasses per day, one of the reasons for constipation is alleviated. Dehydration is the reduced amount of necessary fluids in the body to maintain healthy and normal functions. One of the big mistakes about drinking is that a lot of people think that drinking fluid is drinking fluid. Not true. Drinks that contain caffeine or alcohol actually may actually promote dehydration. Beverages like soda, coffee, tea, alcohol (including beer), and caffeinated drinks such as energy drinks all give a false sense of hydration. After all those beverages that didn't hydrate the body, when still have to go poop. Dehydration often occurs when these drinks pull water away from its reserves.
Changing your diet to include the 4 – 5 servings of vegetables, increasing your fruit intake to 3 or 4 servings, adding to that the recommended 1 to 2 serving of beans or legumes, and adding 3 to 5 serving of whole or cracked grains to your diet will help as well. These changes will not only help in curing hemorrhoids, but it will change the way your body processes food and you will begin to see unexpected changes in weight and general health. Try to get as close as you can to the recommended daily servings, at least do your body the favor of supplementing with a bulk additive like try over the counter Citrucel, Metamucil Psyllium or Seed Husks. Avoid highly processed food with no nutritional value, the brief moment of hunger satisfaction is not worth the price you pay later, on the toilet or on the scale.
Exercise is very important to your health and your digestive system. Make sure you walk at least 10 minutes a day to keep your digestive system healthy. Making good bowel movements is no the only thing that walking will promote. Your health, weight and metabolism will as benefit greatly.
Changing your elimination habits is also a factor in eliminating hemorrhoids. A couple of simple actions will help out a lot in your war against the hemorrhoid.
Make sure to follow through as soon as possible when the urgency hits you. Waiting to go puts added pressure on the blood vessels and tissues waiting to complete their task.
Once you have begun a bowel movement, do not rush the process. Let your body take its time. With painful constipation or bad diarrhea, pushing for completion will only cause the formation of overly extended blood vessels in the rectal area.
Sitting down for a long time or very heavy lifting may also create problems. Practice safe lifting practices and if sitting is necessary, be sure that you go for a few short walk throughout your day and try to stretch. This will help generate blood flow.
These changes will help in curing hemorrhoids you may already have, and they may will certainly help with your overall health.
